Synnex seals deal with Western Digital

Melbourne, Australia (April 1, 2004) —— IT Distributor Synnex Australia has entered into an agreement with Western Digital Corp. to distribute its line of hard drive products. Western Digital is the second vendor of hard drive devices to be represented by Synnex.  “We can offer our resellers a great choice of hard drives, from the world leaders in storage” says Frank Sheu, Managing Director, Synnex Australia. “We’re very pleased that WD has joined our family of product offerings as this highlights our philosophy of giving the resellers a choice from the best products around.”

Western Digital’s WD Raptor™ SATA 10,000 RPM drives are designed for the enterprise market, offering the high performance and reliability of SCSI drives at significantly less cost. The enterprise market is a focus for Western Digital and a segment where Synnex is strong.
