Arthur has been with Synnex Australia since 2000 and has headed up the Sales Division as Sales Director since 2010. During this period, Arthur has initiated several pivotal initiatives aimed at fostering strong customer relationships, streamlining the Sales organisational structure to focus on customer-oriented strategies, and adapting to evolving customer needs. Arthur has been an integral part in driving the growth of the commercial, consumer, and cloud business. He has also been a driving force in promoting a positive cultural change and effective communication within the company,  leading to a more diverse and inclusive workplace.

Bob Tang
Bob Tang

Chief Financial Officer

Bob has been with Synnex Australia since 1997, initially joining the company as Finance Director. In 2006, he was appointed to his current role as Chief Financial Officer. He brings extensive financial and operational expertise, built through prior leadership roles including F&A Director at Mitac, Group Treasurer at Conti Chai Tai International, and Management Accountant at Commodore Electronics.

Bob holds a degree in Banking and Finance from Hong Kong Polytechnic and a diploma from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Darren Tan
Darren Tan

Product Management and Marketing Director

General Manager - New Zealand Operations

Darren has been with Synnex Australia since 1999, holding a range of progressively senior roles across sales, product development, and marketing. With extensive experience in the IT distribution sector, he is responsible for driving Synnex Australia’s growth and market presence nationwide.

Before joining Synnex, Darren spent over six years at Dual Technologies, where he held various positions, including Business Development Manager.

Deniz Kilicci
Deniz Kilicci

Product Director

Deniz began his career in the IT industry in 2000, holding a range of sales and product management roles at both Express Data and Synnex.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Deniz brings deep expertise in the enterprise market, overseeing the licensing, gaming, and entertainment portfolio. One of his key achievements includes leading the successful implementation and growth of the licensing business at Synnex Australia.

Yu- Chen Liao
Yu- Chen Liao

Product Director

Yu-Chen holds a Bachelor of Computing from Monash University and began his career in the IT industry with Mitac Australasia in 1996. He joined Synnex Australia in 1999, progressing from a planner role to his current position as Product Director in 2012.

His primary focus is on managing the Channel portfolios, where he has successfully led teams and built strong, lasting relationships with key vendor partners.

Jay Ko
Jay Ko

Product Director

Jay joined Synnex Australia in 1999 as a Product Manager and was promoted to Product Director in 2010, overseeing the Print, Supplies, and System categories. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Management and an MBA from Melbourne Business School.

With extensive experience across product management, marketing, and sales, Jay has played a key role in securing new distribution rights with major vendors and driving the growth of those portfolios.

Timothy Lin
Timothy Lin

Product Director

Tim joined Synnex in October 2018 as a Senior Product Manager. Bringing extensive experience with major hardware vendors and a strong background in product and channel management, he was promoted to Product Director in 2019. Since then, Tim has built and led his team while expanding his product portfolio to include consumer and commercial systems, as well as virtual reality solutions. He is dedicated to driving growth and exploring new opportunities and markets for Synnex.
Kuo Yoong
Kuo Yoong

Head of Cloud Operations

Cloud & ECommerce

Kuo Yoong joined Synnex in 2013 and successfully led the multi-million-dollar, end-to-end development and delivery of the Synnex B2B Cloud Marketplace, paving the way for Synnex’s entry into the cloud space with SaaS and IaaS offerings for partners.

In his current role, Kuo leads the Cloud team, managing a portfolio of global ISV partners across security, productivity, print, migration, infrastructure (IaaS), and subscription-based SaaS solutions. His focus is on creating long-term value for Synnex partners by delivering recurring, cloud-based subscription models that drive business growth.

Before Synnex, Kuo held a consulting role with top-tier IT firm Wealthy Management and also ran his digital agency.

Thomas Tapsas
Thomas Tapsas

Director of Channel Sales

Thomas joined Synnex in 2024. Before this, he served as Intel’s Director of Retail Sales for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. During his time at Intel, he collaborated with Synnex in various capacities, gaining a strong appreciation for the company’s values and business approach.

In his current role, Thomas leads Synnex’s Channel Sales team, driving sales initiatives and shaping the strategic direction for partner engagement. He adopts a holistic approach to business development, focusing not only on sales results but also on innovative strategies, team empowerment, and strengthening customer relationships.

Thomas is committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual growth, empowering his team and partners. He aims to guide Synnex through a business transformation journey, embracing innovation and change to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Jason Williams
Jason Williams

Director of Consumer Sales

Jason joined Synnex Australia in July 2009 as a Senior Business Development Manager within the National Retail team, and now leads the Consumer Sales team. One of his key achievements has been successfully strengthening the connection between customers, vendors, and Synnex, fostering collaboration and driving growth.

Before joining Synnex, Jason spent 18 years with Harvey Norman in senior roles across sales, product, and marketing management at both state and national levels.

Rupa Ganguly
Rupa Ganguly

Director of Sales Operations

Rupa joined Synnex Australia in November 2006, bringing 19 years of experience in the IT and sales industries. She currently leads the development of Synnex’s presence in the Australian retail market. Over her tenure, Rupa has held several progressive roles and played a key role in driving significant growth within the National Retail channel. She now leads a team of 15 sales professionals dedicated to expanding and sustaining Synnex Australia’s retail market share. Rupa holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Diploma in Internet Programming and Systems Management.

Meghana Dhupar
Meghana Dhupar

Head of Human Resources

Meghana joined Synnex Australia in July 2005 as a Human Resources Specialist and was promoted to HR Manager in 2006. She currently leads a team of HR professionals, driving initiatives across change management, employee engagement, and industrial and employee relations.

Before joining Synnex, Meghana held roles at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, GE Capital Finance, and The Salvation Army Employment Plus, gaining experience in customer service, recruitment, and employment consultancy.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA with a specialisation in Strategy and Human Resources from Swinburne University

Jacky Chen
Jacky Chen

Logistics Manager - Southern Region

Jacky commenced his career as a logistics project specialist for the Synnex Group in Taiwan in 2017, before heading up the Melbourne logistics team three years later. With his proven skills and knowledge, Jacky now leads the Southern region logistics team in his current role. His guiding principles are aligned to the company’s 3V principles. Jacky remains committed to streamlining Synnex’s logistics operations to deliver continued outstanding service to our partners.

Jacky holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from National Taiwan University.

Patty Chan
Patty Chan

General Manager – Northern Region

Patty joined Synnex Australia in 2000 as Sydney Branch Manager and was promoted in 2004 to General Manager – Northern Branch, where she leads the Sydney office overseeing Operations and Finance & Administration. She brings extensive experience from previous roles including Queensland Branch Manager at Ingram Micro and Electronic Resources Pty Ltd, as well as Senior Accountant in public accounting practices. Patty is a qualified CPA, and her strong background in accounting and financial planning underpins her effective management of day-to-day operations.

Lillian Lee
Lillian Lee

Business Quality Management - Manager

Lillian joined Synnex Australia in 1999 and has held a series of progressive roles within the Product Management and Purchasing Division. In 2007, she was appointed Manager of the Business Quality Management team, where she has since focused on auditing and streamlining operational processes across Sales and Product Management.

Before joining Synnex, Lillian gained valuable experience in finance, administration, and sales. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accountancy.

Roger Wang

Credit and Treasury Manager

Roger joined Synnex Australia in August 1998 as Treasury Manager. Over his 27-year tenure with Synnex, Roger has progressed through various financial roles and currently serves as Credit Control and Treasury Manager, leading a national team of 25. He holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Adeline Chang
Adeline Chang

Management Information Systems - Manager

Adeline holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems and a Master of Business Systems. She began her IT career with Synnex in 2000 as a programmer before expanding her expertise as a Database Administrator and Tester at Intellect Computing Technology.

Adeline rejoined Synnex Australia in 2003 as System Development Team Leader and was promoted to MIS Manager in 2004. Throughout her tenure, she has focused on systems analysis and integration, website development, project management, infrastructure planning and deployment, network security, and continuous improvement of IT operations, policies, and procedures.
