Vertiv expands distribution network in Australia
Announces partnership with Synnex Australia for its power protection portfolio
Recognizing the rising cost of data centre downtime, Vertiv, formerly Emerson Network Power, today announced a strategic partnership with Synnex Australia. This collaboration will enable Vertiv to strengthen its presence in the local ICT industry, better addressing concerns on infrastructure uptime as well as power availability and efficiency.
Vertiv expands its nationwide distribution line up with the appointment of Synnex. “We understand that today’s data centres are becoming increasingly more complex because of emerging technology trends that are transforming how businesses manage their critical infrastructure. Uptime and availability remain a major concern for our customers here in Australia, that’s why we are further expanding our national distribution network for our power protection portfolio bringing our industry-leading solutions to more businesses in the region,” said Mo Kandeel, channel director, Vertiv in Australia and New Zealand.
Synnex Australia is a global ICT supply chain services company and is the largest distribution company in Australia. It has networks across a wide range of businesses in the Australia ICT industry, including resellers, system integrators, computer retailers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), and retailers, among others.
As a distributor, Synnex Australia will carry Vertiv’s portfolio of power protection solutions, including the Liebert® GXT4, the Liebert NX series and the Liebert ITA. In addition, Synnex Australia will also be carrying other solutions such as the Liebert CRV, the ASCO® 7000 series and the Avocent® Universal Management Gateway.
