Broad-based distributor, Synnex, has enhanced its ecommerce facilities and implemented a new B2B payment gateway.

Resellers will now have the chance to purchase and pay for items online at the same time.

When a customer placed an order online in the past, the manual process involved keying in the order, faxing the invoice to the customer and requesting their preferred method of payment, treasury manager, Roger Wang, said.

"The whole order process time for customers is now much quicker and we want to make sure that we can efficiently satisfy their requirements," he said. Resellers can now make purchases using a variety of payment methods including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Moneytech and through Synnex's credit facility.

"Introducing the gateway is our first step and we still have a long way to go. In the future we are going to further automate the whole ordering process to ensure we have a higher level of reseller satisfaction," Wang said. "We are also working on updating our inventory information on our website more frequently."
