New Zealand Ministry of Education Program

We are pleased to announce that The Ministry of Education (MoE) has agreed to provide three years of Google Workspace for Education Plus licensing to State and State integrated Schools via eligible partners.

In addition, the Chrome Education Upgrade licensing program supported by the Ministry of Education has been extended for a further three years. Google partners can now continue provisioning Chrome Education Upgrade licenses free of charge to eligible schools.

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has agreed to provide three years of Workspace for Education Plus licensing to State and State integrated Schools via eligible partners. The aim of this agreement is to upgrade both the teaching and learning tools for teachers as well as the security tools available to school administrators.

As a result of the national licensing agreement between Google and the Ministry of Education NZ (MoE), schools will receive Chrome Education Upgrade free of charge. This agreement covers the Chrome Education Upgrade fee schools or parents previously had paid per device and applies to both Chromebooks owned by the school, and those owned by parents and students, and registered with their school.
