Sales Support Officer - VIC

Summary

 

To support the Sales team by accurately invoicing orders, investigating and processing credit claims; maintaining low error rates (refer to the KPI details) and providing timely and effective customer service

 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

 

•Assisting assigned accounts of customers via the telephone, ensuring their orders are processed in an accurate and professional manner

•Ensuring their orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner;

 

•Maintain backorders;

•Inputting orders and claims into our internal database system;

•Providing customers with up-to-date information regarding deliveries, order and claim status, specials/ promotions, backorders and expected time of arrival;

•Liaising with other departments and interstate teams for issue resolution e.g. for short shipment claims, supporting documents and RA claims;

•Assisting the team with other administration related tasks including sending credit notes, PODs to the customer.

•Assisting the team with communicating price issues to the customers for their orders

•Processing dealer applications;

 

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty highlighted above to a high standard.

 

Education and or Experience

•One or more years’ related experience with a reputable distributor would be highly desirable.

•TAFE certificate or university degree or related administration experience would also be highly regarded.

  

Behavioural Specifications:

•Previous experience in a similar role;

•Knowledge of IT hardware and brands would be an advantage;

•Strong time management skills;

•Exceptional data entry skills and intermediate Office package skills preferred;

•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;

•Team orientated

•Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from different stakeholders

•Proven track record of consistent performance and KPI achievement;

•Confident in your sales/customer service ability;

•Exceptional attention to detail;
