Pre-Sales Specialist - Huawei - VIC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide presales support and solutions including software and services aligned to the Huawei portfolio.
  • Identify customer needs and requirements to develop solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales team and clients on proposals, quotes and pitches for business.
  • Attend meetings in conjunction with the business development managers and acting as a technical expert.
  • Presenting proposals to clients; including detailed BoM configuration and costings.

 

The role requires the successful candidate to have:

  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer requirements and assist sales teams to close opportunities.
  • TAFE certificate or University degree preferably with a major in IT; or 2 to 5 years' related experience with a reputable enterprise solution vendor.
  • Experience and knowledge of enterprise Networking, Server and Storage solutions is a must.
  • Proven track record with pre-sales.
  • Strong communication, listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build effective business relationships.
  • Ability to link technical solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and proven track record of meeting deadline.
