On offer is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with strong sales and account management skills to join our growing Microsoft Cloud Solutions team and play an integral role in the future success of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Be able to perform a strategic plan in the development of new business, which will involve a prospecting list (lead generation).
  • Be able to initiate new business in the market – including proactively sourcing, identifying, developing and executing new sales opportunities.
  • Build effective relationships with key accounts through effective account management tools.
  • To report on a monthly basis to the team on the development of market, by highlighting strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats.
  • Involved in new marketing activity within market and ensuring a range of product mixes is being sold.
  • Support and represent the team at events and trade shows
  • Provide ongoing support in all aspects of customer training
  • Thorough understanding of sales budgets and ensure that sales targets are achieved i.e.; weekly targets, monthly targets, quarterly targets.
  • Be able capitalise on any sales opportunities and be aware of any weaknesses in the sales process with key accounts.

Key Skills and Experience

This role requires the successful candidate to have:

  • Ability to reach sales budgets and new accounts
  • Ability to maintain, develop and set revenue budgets & targets.
  • Effectively manage and plan for the development of new business in the Commercial/SMB/Cloud/Solution Market.
  • Ability to build new and effective business relationships in a professional manner while providing optimal customer service
  • Ability to understand customer needs and requirements and also the ability understand the market requirements and needs.
  • Understanding of current product knowledge and have the willingness to improve upon it, including becoming certified in relevant vendor certifications.
  • Ability to deliver effective monthly sales presentations and weekly/monthly written reports.
  • Ability to minimise financial risk & account problems for Synnex.
