Business Development Manager - Avast - VIC

About the role:

Due to our continuing growth, we are seeking a responsible and driven Business Development Manager to support our growing AVAST business, in this 12 month contract based role located in our Oakleigh South, Melbourne office.

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and building successful business relationships for our Cloud platform and drive sales by maintaining best practice in customer service. 

Some of the primary duties and responsibilities include:

  • Be able to produce and execute a strategic plan in the development of new business
  • Be able to develop and maintain a sales strategy which supports the growth plan
  • Be able to present to customers and senior management to win new business
  • Be able to evaluate and recommend business partnering opportunities
  • Close collaboration with the vendor sales and management team on a regular pipeline reporting basis
  • To be constantly informed of latest promotion or changes to technology


Skills and Experience:

  • A Tafe Certificate/Bachelor's degree preferably with a major in IT will be highly regarded; or 2-5 years related experience with a reputable distributor, vendor or reseller.
  • Experience and knowledge of infrastructure and cloud solutions and services, selling security cloud solutions, Office 365, Google Cloud, knowledge of CRM and a broad knowledge of the IT industry
  • Preferred solutions sales experience in Cloud based SaaS Security Solution
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
  • Successful candidates must have the ability to demonstrate initiative, proactiveness and exercise independent thinking
